MIDC has constructed a water supply scheme at a cost of Rs.15 crores. The scheme is sourced by the Chinchani dam on the Ghod river and supplies 13.8 mld. water in the first phase. The water is purified at a WHO standard water treatment plant of 27.6 mld. within the park. This assures 24 hours water supply.
The park is located on Pune-Ahmednagar road at a distance of 50 Kms from Pune. It is connected internally by multiple lane roads of international standards with aligned pavements, underground drainage, underground cabling etc. The width of main road is 60 mt. and width of internal road is 30 mt.The roads are contructed using modern techniques.
A dedicated electronic telephone exchange, with 360 lines and 512 PC-DOT has been set up by the Department of Telecommunications with ISDN facility. The exchange is connected to Pune with Optical Fibre Cable for fast connectivity. Internet speed of upto 32 mbps can be obtained.
A 160 hectares residential area is reserved, out of which the first phase of 35 hectares has been developed on the eastern side of the park with basic facilities like water, electricity and roads. A 220 kv substation, set up by MIDC and MSEB, provides power supply without voltage fluctuation to the area. This extra high voltage substation has a total capacity of 150 MVA. This has helped to get required power available to the consumer at 22kv / 132kv as well as to low tension consumers. Present consumption - 55 MVA. Surplus power - 95 MVA.
The entire Industrial Area is lit up by 2,000 street lights, which are fully operational. The lights on the internal roads are fitted up on 11metres high steel tubular poles whereas the junctions are illuminated with 30 metres high mast.
